Recently, the 2023 Jilin Animation Institute (JAI) Excellent Graduation Works Exhibition was launched in the exhibition hall on the first floor of the library. Liu Zhenhua, the Executive Vice President of JAI, Wang Chunli, the Vice President of JAI, Li Wanlong, Educational Inspector of JAI, Scientific Research Management Department, the Department of Educational Affairs, the leaders and representatives of teachers and students of each school attended the opening ceremony.

Liu Zhenhua addressed the opening ceremony. He said, grade 2023 was extraordinary. Teachers and students overcome all kinds of difficulties, firm faith, in adversity inspired endless creativity and wisdom, and achieved perfect results. The paintings, the posters, the frame images, the products are all highlighting the spirit of “self-esteem, self-improvement, innovation, creation”, engraved with the brand of “accurate talent training”. The graduation work exhibition is a comprehensive presentation of the students’ learning achievements in the past four years, and also a comprehensive test of the teaching work. It is hoped that all teaching units will take this opportunity to exchange experience, face up to their shortcomings, and aim at the two products of “students” and “works” to better improve the quality of running schools, highlight the characteristics of running schools, and publicize the results of education.

This exhibition brings together more than 100 outstanding graduation design works from 23 majors in the School of Animation Art, School of Comic, School of Game, School of Design, School of Film, School of Virtual Reality, School of Creative Industry, School of Animation Industry, covering graphic design, video short films, photography, comics, modeling creation, special effects makeup and VR experience. The works are rich in subject matter and diverse in form, reflecting the unrestrained artistic expression of the new generation of young people, and demonstrating the transcendence and breakthrough of young students' thinking concepts.

The successful holding of the graduation exhibition not only drew a successful end for the students' graduation, but also reflected the excellent achievements and influence of the school in the field of art education. This exhibition interprets the school-running characteristics of JAI’s “integration of education, research and industry” and witnesses the remarkable achievements of the “Open Project System”. JAI students are drawing the picture of The Times with the pen of youth.
