School of Civil Aviation

School of Civil Aviation,was established by Jilin Animation Institute under the guidance of the core culture of innovation, creation, excellence, and entrepreneurship, and driven by a diverse cross-industry development strategy, to make strides in the field of civil aviation education and to cultivate the application-oriented talents urgently needed by the national civil aviation industry. Through construction and development, School of Civil Aviation has formed a good situation of reasonable civil aviation professional structure, distinctive talent training characteristics, scientific teaching conditions, and smooth employment channels for students.

The school adheres to the educational philosophy of striving for excellence and the pursuit of excellence, as well as the talent training philosophy of both ability and political integrity. It has planned the “three-high” development pattern of starting point construction, standard formation, and reputation at a high level, and the school proposed that the development goals of “seven adaptations” of talent training which is compatible with market demand, professional layout and industrial structure, education system and characteristic construction, and teacher team missions tasks, innovation achievements and brand effects, cultural construction to civil aviation development, and adaptation of student management and civil aviation management to rapidly promote the comprehensive construction and development of the college. The school has an excellent professional teaching team, a complete aviation practice center an off-campus dual-teaching team with rich practical experience, and 6 fully functional aviation practice bases. There are four majors: aircraft power engineering, aircraft manufacturing engineering, aircraft control and information engineering, and acting (air flight attendant). According to the needs of talents and the 4 directions, the training integrates mechanical maintenance, electronic maintenance, drones and air flight attendants. Integrated application-oriented professionals form a systematic civil aviation education system. In response to the demand for civil aviation personnel licenses, we will innovate the "education + license" talent training model, and form a modern application-oriented education system with school-enterprise cooperation and integration of production and education. The quality of talent training has been highly recognized by the society and the industry. The employment rate of each major is more than 90%, and the flight rate is 74%. Students participated in discipline competitions and won 15 provincial awards and 5 national awards.
