On October 29, 2022 International College Students Film ＆ TV  Exchange Exhibition Jilin ·China kicked off in the Youth Theater of Building F of Jilin Animation Institute. About 400 people, including teachers and students from School of Film, attended the exhibition online and offline. The exhibition was hosted by Xu Yunfan, a teacher of Schoolof Film. This exhibition is one of the agenda of Media Association of Jilin Province 2022 Annual Conference, and some experts and scholars of Media Association watched the exhibition online.

"2022 International College Students Film ＆ TV  Exchange Exhibition Jilin·China" is an internationalized and professional large-scale competition sponsored by Jilin Provincial Society of Media, Jilin Provincial Dramatists Association, the Organizing Committee of Italian Film Festival and Jilin Animation Institute, and undertaken by the School of Film of Jilin Animation Institute. The exhibition is divided into three sections: feature film, documentary and new media short video. A total of 139 works from home and abroad have been collected, including 47 feature films, 44 documentaries and 48 new media short films. The works come from 32 universities in 10 countries, including China, UK and South Korea. In addition, we also received 23 works from the Organizing committee of the Italian Circuit Film Festival, the organizer of this exchange exhibition. 

This exhibition played the works of "Rencai Market" by Lyu Haozhe, student of Chung-Ang University of Korea, and "The Light of a Gap" by Peng Guilin, Hunan Vocational College of Art. The organizer invited Professor Xu Peng, Deputy dean of the School of Media Science of Northeast Normal University, and Associate Professor Yu Haijun, School of Journalism and Communication of Jilin Normal University, to make comments on the two works. The two experts analyzed and appreciated the topic selection, shot features, narration, editing and other professional aspects. The students of the film school communicated and interacted with the two teachers on some scenes and nodes of the works. Offline and online, teachers and students have heated discussions, so that students can appreciate excellent works at the same time, improve their artistic appreciation.

Later, six new media short films such as "The First Secretary "and some works selected by the organizing committee of the Italian Film Festival Circuit were also shown.

For the first time, the list of winning works in the exhibition was announced. 39 works including "The Light of a Gap" won the first, second and third prizes in the three categories of documentary, feature film and new media short film.
