On March 29, Loïc LITTMANN-LOUVET, Vice Consul for Cooperation of the Republic of France in Shenyang , Director of Higher Education Department of Culture and Education Division, and Wang Qiang, Head of Promotion and Study Abroad Guidance Department of Higher Education Department of Culture and Education Division, Shenyang Center, visited our school. Zheng Liguo, Chairman and President of Jilin Animation Institute, and Liu Xin, Vice Chairman, received the visiting guests.

During this visit, Wang Qiang explained the information related to studying in France to nearly two hundred students of our school with the theme of Advantages of Studying in France. Through the lecture, the students of our school further understood the French higher education system and French universities, stimulated students’ interest in studying in France, and built a platform for JAI students to study in France.

Afterwards, Mr. Loïc LITTMANN-LOUVET and his delegation visited the History Museum, Jilin International Animation Museum, and the exhibition hall of the creative achievements of the integration of learning, research and production. During the visit, Mr. Loïc LITTMANN-LOUVET expressed his appreciation for the school’s achievements and internationalization vision, and showed great interest in the original work Frog Kingdom by our teachers and students. And he also praised the art works displayed in the International Animation Museum, and especially showed great interest in the original manuscript of Journey to the West.

Through the visit, Mr. Loïc LITTMANN-LOUVET and his team gained an in-depth understanding of the school’s development history, school-running characteristics and achievements. Mr. Zheng Liguo, Chairman and President of Jilin Animation Institute, said that Jilin Animation Institute maintains close cooperation with many higher education institutions in France, and the school has participated in international exhibitions and competitions such as MIPTV in Cannes and Angouleme International Comics Festival held in France for many times. In the future, Jilin Animation Institute will also organize exhibitions and joint creations with French universities in the fields of animation and games, so as to deepen the cooperation and build the friendship between China and France.

At present, Jilin Animation Institute has signed cooperation agreements with 9 French universities, such as Rubika, etc. 2024 is the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, and taking this visit as an opportunity, Jilin Animation Institute will continue to carry out in-depth cooperation and exchanges with the relevant universities in France and constantly broaden the field of cooperation, providing diversified exchange and learning resources for the students and teachers of Jilin Animation Institute to enhance the teachers’ and students’ internationalization horizons.
