On March 29, the School of Virtual Reality and Film Technology of Jilin Animation Institute invited Nouhad Waheed and Leo Allan, teachers of  Media Design School, to hold a special academic lecture in the multifunctional lecture hall on the second floor of the Culture and Art Center of JAI. More than 160 teachers and students from the School of Virtual Reality and Film Technology and the School of Animation Art attended the lecture.

Nouhad Waheed will focus on the theme of Meta-Intelligence: Tools and Models for Enhancing Skills, explaining the three core concepts of “Meta-cognition”, “Meta-Learning” and “Meta-Intelligence” in turn. The topic of “Meta-cognition”, “Meta-learning”, “Meta-intelligence”, “Clear Learning Objectives”, “Seeking Feedback”, “Project-Based Learning”, and “Adaptive Learning Skills” was explained from simple to deep, and teachers and students were stimulated to learn more about these concepts. and “Adaptive Learning Skills”, and stimulated in-depth thinking among students and teachers. He suggested that students should find their own learning styles and strategies, and learn “trial and error” to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the industry.

Leo Allan centered on the theme of The Road to Success: What the 3D Industry Expects from Graduates, combined with his own work practice and rich industry experience, deeply analyzed the current situation and future development trend of the 3D industry, and gave professional advice on the professional qualities and practical abilities required for the graduates, encouraging the students to take positive actions and measures, and reminding everyone not to “bind” themselves.
