Nearly 3,000 precious creative manuscripts of animation works by more than 50 animation masters such as Chang Guangxi, Hua Junwu and Dai Dunbang are gathered here.

The manuscripts of Lotus Lantern Image-Chen Xiang, Bragging is not taxable and Shajiabang take us back to the time of our childhood. As a popular and public academic exhibition, the Exhibition of Classic Animation and Drawing Manuscripts is open to the public free of charge.

The exhibition gathered classic works known and loved by audiences of all ages, and there were even manuscripts of art masters such as Hua Junwu, Feng Zikai, Ding Cong, Gu Yuan and so on. It shows the enduring charm of animation creation manuscripts and lets the audience feel the vitality of aesthetic classics leaping off the page!

Those impressive images are framed here. Looking back at the classics, paying tribute to the classics, at this time they are not only the characters in the animation and comics, but also the intimate playmates who accompanied us growing up!

This exhibition is a rare visual feast for me, allowing me to have a deeper understanding of the creative process of animation and improving my artistic aesthetics while appreciating art.

I have loved drawing since I was a child, and I am very happy and excited to be able to see the artwork of the animation masters up close, so I will keep up my passion for drawing and continue to work hard in the future!

In this exhibition of classic animation works, I was deeply impressed by director Chang Guangxi’s work Lotus Lantern Image-Chen Xiang, through which I learnt about the story behind the creation of animation art, felt the connotation and meaning in the creation manuscript, and resonated with it, which made me gain a lot.

Watching the manuscripts of my predecessors' creations makes me believe that artistic expression comes from life. Combined with what I have learnt, I can find fun in life and fully apply it to the practice of artistic creation.

The characters of many of the works on display today are memories of my childhood. Through these manuscripts, I have learnt about the production process and artistic charm of anime, and have gained a deeper understanding of anime culture. In the future, I will endeavour to be an inheritor of animation culture and contribute my own strength.

We were mesmerised by the artistic creations. Walking through the exhibition halls is like interacting intimately with the artists and feeling their passion for creation. It was a wonderful experience to immerse ourselves in the exhibition with our friends and share our experiences with each other!
