On July 28, Liang Renzhe, Deputy Governor of Jilin Province, Su Heng, Deputy Secretary-General of Provincial Government, Xu Shibin, First-Level Inspector of Provincial Department of Education, Yang Rujun, Deputy Director of Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and others came to Jilin Animation Institute to conduct a special survey on college students’ entrepreneurship and employment.

Liang Renzhe and his colleagues visited the School History Museum, Jilin International Cartoon and Animation Museum and Exhibition Hall of Integration of Education, Research, and Industry to gain an in-depth understanding of the school’s entrepreneurship and employment of college students, training of applied talents, and transformation of scientific research results. During the investigation, Zheng Liguo, Chairman, President of JAI, introduced the School-running Characteristics “Integration of Education, Research and Industry”, adhering to the precise talent training model of “choosing majors in freshman and Sophomore years, and choosing careers in junior and senior years” to comprehensively cultivate students’ hands-on and practical abilities, encourage and advocate students’ innovation and entrepreneurship, and closely connect with the market to expand employment channels. The school was rated as a “National University with Typical Experience in Innovation and Entrepreneurship” by the Ministry of Education; It was approved as a National Innovation and Entrepreneurship University in 2022. This year, the school took the lead in establishing Jilin Province University Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Cultural and Creative) Alliance, etc.

 

After learning about the school’s achievements in employment and entrepreneurship, Liang Renzhe pointed out that you shall carefully summarize the experience and practices of entrepreneurship in promoting employment and promoting a new talent training model oriented towards innovation and entrepreneurship, strengthen the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship service platforms, optimize the innovation and entrepreneurship environment for students, encourage graduates to achieve flexible employment through new business formats and new models, enhance graduates’ awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship, and improve their innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities.

Liang Renzhe learned that the Chinese ink animation short film “Flying Apsaras” created by JAI teachers and students was screened on behalf of Chinese government’s outstanding cultural and artistic masterpieces at the 2019 commemoration conference for the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia, demonstrating the unique artistic charm of Chinese culture and national animation. He expressed this is rare, and hopes that Jilin Animation Institute will cultivate more and more young generations who use art and technology to tell Chinese stories, cultivate and transport high quality applied talents across the entire industry chain for the development of cultural and creative industries and film and television industries, inject new impetus into the process of revitalizing Northeast China and demonstrate the confidence and power of Chinese culture in contemporary times.
