On October 27, hosted by The Japanese Consulate General in shenyang and The Foreign Affairs Office of Changchun Municipal People's Government, organized by Jilin International Studies University, The Eighth Changchun Sino-Japanese College Students Cultural Festival was held in the auditorium of Jilin International Studies University. Representatives from eight universities and international student groups including Jilin Animation Institute, Jilin University, Jilin International Studies University and Northeast Normal University attended.

Masahiko Sugiada, chief consul of The Japanese Consulate General in shenyang, and Duan huaxu, deputy director of The Foreign Affairs Office of Changchun Municipal People's Government delivered speeches respectively.

The universities participated in the festival gave wonderful artistic performances. "Dancing Dream", which is performed by our institute, is full of the vitality of The Times, showing the artistic charm of ourinstitute.

The organizing committee of this activity also presented wonderful performances of Japanese tea ceremony and Chinese traditional tea ceremony, which showed the development of Chinese tea culture in Japan.

It is the eighth year for our institute to participate in this activity. By participating in The Eighth Changchun Sino-Japanese College Students Cultural Festival, we not only deepened the friendly exchanges between our institute and Japanese embassies and consulates in China, but also enhanced our students' understanding of Japanese culture and the interaction with Japanese international students, which laid a foundation for the friendly exchanges between Chinese and Japanese people.
