In order to deepen the school-running characteristics of JiLin Animation Institute, strengthen international cooperation and communication, and promote the development of animation major to the international first-class level. From July 14, to July 26, 2019.  JiLin Animation Institute sent Luo Jianglin, vice President of JiLin Animation Institute, to lead the team, Huang Baizhou, from International Cooperation and Development Center, and four students from the school of animation art to RUBIKA, France, to participate in the 2019 IAC international chain animation challenge for 10 days.

The IAC international chain animation challenge was launched by Singapore Nanyang Polytechnic Institute, Leads Arts University,  France Higher Institute of Visual Media and other three international universities in 2017, they  held the challenge alternately every year. This chanllege aims to promote the joint creation and international communication  of animation students from all over the world. So far, teachers and students of 21 internationally renowned animation colleges and universities from 13 countries have participated in all previous activities.This year, JiLin Animation Institute, as the only Chinese university invited to participate in the 2019 IAC international chain animation challenge, together with 30 students from  France Higher Institute of Visual Media,  Leads Arts University, Griffith University in Australia, NanYang Technological Institute in Singapore, and Royal University of Bangkok in Thailand.

The creation topic of 2019 IAC international chain animation challenge is egg, to create 20-second chain animation works with cultural diversity, inclusiveness and continuity based on egg-shaped creative theme.

Through 10 days of intensive communication and joint creation by each group of international student teams, five chain animation works with different themes and styles were completed.

During the same period, luo JiangLin, the vice president on behalf of our institute also visited France on regional Noel province investment promotion bureau, the lille Plaine Images' creative industrial park and French MIKROS company.

By taking 2019 IAC international chain animation challenge, not only broaden the students' international vision, to expand the international influence of our institute, but also knows more about the actual international famous animation specialty construction in colleges and universities and the development of the French animation, film and television special effects company, national first-class professional for school construction and international leading animation professional, expand the international cooperation in space, has accumulated valuable experience, enrich the connotation of the animation education and industrial development.
