On November 27^th 2018, the Cooperative Education Committee Meeting (short as Committee Meeting) between JAI and MDS was held in JAI. Associate Dean Steve Dorner of MDS, Vice Chairman, Vice Principal Liu Xin, Deputy Dean Zhang Rui from International Visual Effect School, Director Bao Yiping from International Exchange and Forum Office, Deputy Minister Wang Lili from Teaching Affairs Administration attended this meeting, which was hosted by Deputy Director Huang Baizhou from International Exchange and Forum Office.

  At the beginning, Vice Chairman, Vice Principal Liu Xin expressed her warm welcome to MDS’s visit and her thanks to MDS’s support and help. Liu said that it’s been our mutual effort to recruit the first group of students for the cooperative program in September 2018. On behalf of MDS, Associate Dean Steve Dorner gave his gratitude to JAI’s progressive work and also he praised two graduates from JAI who is now studying their Master’s Degree in MDS.

 

  After a hot discussion about cooperative program’s running and quality advancing, various mutual conscientiousness have been reached. Specifically that include teaching arrangements, educational resources sharing, courses and faculty construction and scientific cooperation and exchange in 2019.

  MDS’s visit deepened mutual friendship and exchange and increased quality supervision and inner construction, which is also helpful to launch the program smoothly. Meanwhile, both JAI and MDS will make efforts collaboratively to promote the cooperative program.
