On 6^th November 2018, under the direction of Dean Chen Yazhen a competition group consists of both teachers and students from School of Cinema Art of JAI attended the 22^nd APHCA in Macau and gained 11 awards. The group consists of nine persons in total including Charge man Li Chen from Clothe Designing major, Ren Jing, Pu Yu from Character Image Design major and six students from Cinema Art School. 

  As the most influential banquet, APHCA was co-held by APHCA and Macau Innovative Image Art Association, aiming at collecting talents from hairstyle design and make-up to share knowledge, innovation and ideology. Hundreds of competitors from Asian-Pacific areas will compete to show their own professional skills.

 This competition covers professional groups and college and university talents from America, Canada, Switzerland, Chile, Mexico, New Zealand, Japan, ROK, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippine, China Mainland and Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Special Administrative Zones. There were dynamic group and static group in which 41 competition events were set up and over 400 works were handed. Competitors in dynamic group should complete a make-up and whole modelling with time limit.

 To encourage students and teachers involve actively in international events and promote Cinema Art School to the world, this event broadened our perspective of beauty and eyesight. And finally 11 awards were gained by us.

  To open a better future, School of Cinema Art will continuously keep the pace of the institute and help to promote animation industry, trying to be a vital part of industry chain. We will focus on the frontier of cinema market both domestically and abroad to mainly develop the fantasy makeup teaching skills and construct workshop.
