In order to further promote Sino-Korean cultural exchanges, build a cultural bridge of art exchange and cooperation, and set up a broader art display and exchange platform for Chinese and Korean artists and art lovers. Recently, the President of Korea-China Art Association Cha Hongkyu came to Jilin Animation Institute (JAI) to give a lecture entitledLight and Darkness in Renaissance Art, which provided JAI students with new perspectives on international development and a new direction for learning and exchange.

The lecture vividly and imaginatively recounted the development of Renaissance art. President Cha Hongkyu led nearly 200 students and teachers from School of Animation Art, School of Comics, School of Design of JAI to appreciate the paintings of artists during the heyday of the Renaissance, and infected the students with witty and interesting styles, as well as interacting with them.
Guest Professor Appointment Ceremony
During the visit, Liu Xin, Vice President of JAI, had a discussion with Cha Hongkyu and invited him to be a guest professor of JAI to implement the school's "Openness and International Orientation " philosophy of running a school, and to cultivate more high-quality and applied talents with an international outlook who can participate in international exchanges and competitions.
This lecture opens a door for JAI students to cross cultures, communicate freely and lead to international learning and exchange. In the future, JAI will continue to explore and improve the practice of aesthetic education, draw sustenance from diversified cultures, deepen cultural exchanges and mutual understanding, educate people with culture and beauty, promote cultural dissemination and cultural inheritance, further promote all-round improvement of the quality of talent cultivation of the school, and push forward the school's "Openness and International Orientation " talent cultivation to achieve new breakthroughs.
