On December 8, the 2023 Student Advanced Collective and outstanding individual Commendation Conference of Jilin Animation Institute was held in the International conference Hall of the school's Culture and Art Center. Zheng Liguo, Chairman and President of JAI, attended the conference and delivered a speech. More than a thousand people attended the commendation meeting, including Yue Wu, the Party Secretary and Supervisor, Liu Xin, Vice Chairman, and school leaders Wang Chunli, Li Wanlong, Zhang Yanwei, Peng Wei, Gai Shrui, Zhu Yaxu, Xu Xiaoduo, as well as relevant leaders of schools and functional departments, representatives of students' parents, teachers and students.

In his speech, Zheng Liguo, Chairman and President of JAI pointed out that these commendations and awards are full of the school's care and expectations for JAI students, and also reflect the country's encouragement and spur for outstanding young college students! The students are the inheritors and typical representatives of JAI spirit and JAI culture, but also the backbone of promoting the development of national cultural industry and the participants and practitioners of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation! On the journey of life, walking with excellent people, advancing with The Times, absorbing the power of growth with the desire to seek truth, writing regretless youth with the attitude of endeavour, and becoming the most beautiful scenery of JAI !
Zheng Liguo put forward three requirements to the students:
First, I hope the students set up great ambitions and do a positive and enterprising “JAI person”.
Second, I hope the students become great talents and do the “JAI person” of national excellent cultural inheritance,
Third, I hope that the students take great responsibility and do the “JAI person” of the country with a heart.
Zheng Liguo emphasized that Jilin Animation Institute, as a college training applied talents of the whole industrial chain of cultural and creative industries, has always adhered to the school-running characteristics of “integration of learning, research and production” since its establishment, laid out professional groups with cultural and creative industry groups, led the teaching reform with industrial high-end projects, and is one of the 50 national innovation and entrepreneurship college construction units. JAI has always adhered to the strategic goal of “adhering to the characteristic development, deepening the integration of industry and education, promoting the upgrading of double innovation and entrepreneurship, building a national innovation and entrepreneurship college, building a high-level applied university with characteristics, and constantly promoting the rapid development, healthy development, connotation development, characteristic development and high-quality development of JAI”, and will inherit the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation. In the “14th Five Year Plan” and the outline of the 2035 vision goals, the state clearly stated that by 2035, China will become a strong cultural country. The responsibility of national construction and the mission of national rejuvenation are calling, JAI students must strengthen cultural confidence, adhere to cultural consciousness, adhere to cultural innovation, and firmly establish the core values of socialism with Chinese characteristics; JAI students must take the initiative to shoulder the cultural mission of the new era, with an open, inclusive, honest and innovative attitude, draw nutrition from the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation, and promote the excellent culture to burst out new vitality in the new era.
