Wang Ying said in her speech that in recent years, the Publicity Department of Jilin Provincial Party Committee has cooperated closely with China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and with the strong support of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a series of colorful literary and artistic activities have played a positive role in meeting the spiritual and cultural needs of local people and promoting the development of Jilin's literary and artistic undertakings.
Here, I would also like to thank China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Television Artists Association for their strong support and make the animation and comic convention held in Jilin. The relevant leaders of Jilin Province fully affirmed the holding of the first animation and comic convention, and also put forward clear requirements for the second one, placing high hopes on it and looking forward to achieving greater results.
The Publicity Department of Jilin Provincial Party Committee will earnestly implement the spirit of the relevant instructions, give support in many aspects such as industrial policy guidance, main activities, publicity planning and coordination, and hope that all relevant units will work closely together and give full play to their advantages, and further promote exchanges and cooperation between animation enterprises inside and outside the province through the holding of the second animation and comic convention. He said that as the earliest institution engaged in animation teaching in China, as a university that always adheres to the "integration of education, research and industry" school-running characteristics, JAI will earnestly implement the important instructions of the leaders of the higher departments on the first animation and comic convention, and carefully comb out and summarize the activities of the second one. The second animation and comic convention is planned to be held in September this year, and on the basis of the first event, a series of main activities such as opening and closing ceremonies, animation works and creative investment project promotion, academic seminars, creative master classes, classic animation and painting manuscript exhibitions, and artists into the campus are planned to continue to build an animation and comic convention with "height, breadth, depth and thickness". As the organizer, JAI will actively promote the preparatory work in accordance with the relevant deployment of the China Television Artists Association, and hope that the Provincial Party Committee Publicity Department and other superior departments can continue to give guidance and support to the convention, further promote the prosperity and development of the animation industry, and promote the high-quality development of Jilin's cultural industry and economy.
