From May 22nd to 24th, Zheng Liguo, Executive Vice Chairman of Animation Art Committee of The China Television Artists Association and Chairman of Jilin Animation Institute, led a delegation of four to South Korea to participate in the 18th Busan Content Market organized by The Busan Content Market Organization Committee, supported by the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and The Busan Metropolitan City.

The Busan Content Market (BCM) was established in 2007 as a global content trading platform by Busan in South Korea. Up to now, it has developed into a comprehensive content market covering multiple fields such as broadcasting and television, animation, online comics, and games. A total of more than 2,000 exhibitors and buyers from 700 enterprises in broadcasting and television, animation, online comics, games and other fields from 45 countries participated in this exhibition.

This time, Jilin Animation Institute was invited to participate in the exhibition. JAI held negotiations with exhibitors and buyers from countries and regions such as South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, and Hong Kong, China, regarding matters such as the international distribution of our school’s original 3D animated filmThe Frog Kingdomseries, the science fiction animated filmZap’s Last Stand, and the joint creation of animations and films. Zheng Liguo was invited to be the guest for the ribbon-cutting at the opening ceremony, and represented Animation Art Committee of The China TV Artists Association to attend the award ceremony of Global Pitching (BCM Global Pitching) and presented the award for the Best Content.

During the exhibition, Zheng Liguo had the visit and exchange to Dongseo University in South Korea. He had a discussion with Piao Dongshun, the chairman of School of Dongseo, Zhang Jiguo, the president of Dongseo University. They conducted in-depth discussions on the cooperation between the two universities in terms of exchanges of teachers and students, joint project creation, and joint entrepreneurship.
