Recently, the US Animation Career Review officially released the top 50 International Animation Schools in 2024 (excluding US schools) and the top 10 Asian Animation Schools in 2024. Jilin Animation Institute(JAI) ranks 44th in the world (excluding US schools) and 9th in Asia.
This is the second time that JAI has entered this ranking, the ranking criteria is based on seven indicators: academic reputation, admission standards, employment data, depth and breadth of faculty, and graduation rate. Entering the ranking again proves that the school's educational achievements and professional capabilities have been recognized by the international industry, and the influence of the animation major in international universities has continued to increase, which also confirms the achievements of our school in the training of animation talents.
JAI has always adhered to the three characteristics of "Openness and International Orientation, Integration of Education, Research and Industry; Technicalization of Creative Products". Up to now, the school has established cooperative relations with more than 150 colleges and universities in 31 countries and regions around the world, invited more than 600 global industry experts to the school as visiting professors, and more than 200 works created by teachers and students have won nearly 300 international awards. The school has been rated as "National Animation Teaching and Research Base", "National Animation Industry Base", "National Cultural Industry Demonstration Base", and "National College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project Implementation Unit". In 2018, it was awarded "Best Animation Education Institution" by the Chinese Culture and Art Government Award. In September 2022, the school was approved as National School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Construction Unit.

In the rankings published by the International Animation Schools since 2012, a total of 195 schools have been surveyed.
