Career enlightenment education, exploring the mysteries of how society works

Season 1 of Changbai Spirits: Animal City of Tube uses the unique visual motif of “tube” to build a city of animals full of childlike fun and imagination. Across 26 episodes divided into eight thematic units, the series focuses on everyday urban scenes such as libraries, fire stations, animal hospitals, supermarkets, and amusement parks. Children will follow the adorable, cube-shaped animal protagonists as they transform into librarians, firefighters, doctors, and many other professional roles. In a cityscape that looks like it was built from toy blocks, young viewers can immerse themselves in the daily routines of different careers, discovering their unique values through laughter and adventure.
Innovative Visual Symbols: “Tube” Elements Bring the Screen to Life

Season 1 of Changbai Spirits: Animal City of Tube boldly breaks away from the conventional chibi-style framework by creatively introducing the “Tube” family! Whether tall or short, lively or calm, every animal character shares one defining trait: an adorably square-shaped body. This “block-like” design not only gives the characters strong visual recognition but also adds a unique charm. Moreover, the “Tube” elements act like a sprinkle of childhood magic throughout the series, turning every scene into a block-filled playground that visually echoes the characters. As a result, young viewers feel as if they are stepping into a tangible world of toy bricks while watching the show.
This animated series is the result of in-depth research into the children’s education market conducted by the faculty–student team at Jilin Animation Institute, who carefully studied the cognitive characteristics of young learners. The creative team skillfully integrates career-enlightenment knowledge into a fantastical adventure narrative, with “intellectual growth, childlike fun, and companionship” as its core. While entertaining, the series also conveys positive values, guiding children to understand how society functions and to respect every ordinary yet noble profession.
