On September 15th, a milestone marking Jilin Animation Institute’s 25th founding anniversary, the "Exquisite Comic Manuscript Exhibition" opened at the Jilin International Animation & Comics Museum. At the opening ceremony, Executive President Liu Zhenhua delivered a speech, while Wu Lijie spoke on behalf of the curatorial team.
Liu Zhenhua stated that this manuscript exhibition possesses both profound artistic appeal and positive educational significance. The vivid presentation and effective communication of the artistic spirit embodied herein represent the finest inheritance and promotion of comics as an artistic and spiritual heritage. The university has continuously strengthened the high-quality output of its "two core products"—talented students and outstanding works—laying a solid foundation for art education and innovative practice.
Wu Lijie introduced that the works on display not only carry cultural genes but also embody a profound sense of historical warmth. This exhibition plays a crucial role in fostering innovative art talents, enhancing students’ artistic modeling abilities, improving their cultural and artistic accomplishment, and stimulating the practical potential of creators.
Looking ahead, Jilin Animation Institute will develop high-quality educational resources, deepen the social sharing of these resources, and inject new vitality into the advancement of art education as well as the inheritance and innovation of classic art.
