Recently, Jilin Animation Institute officially became a member of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP).
This milestone not only highlights the institute’s growing influence in the global higher education community, but also lays a solid foundation for further advancing international cooperation and promoting the high-quality development of international education at JAI.

Jilin Animation Institute has long adhered to its distinctive philosophy of “open internationalization.” To date, the institute has established inter-university partnerships with 99 institutions across 23 countries and regions, and has become a member of major international academic and professional organizations, including the International Animated Film Association (ASIFA), Cumulus International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media, International Council of Design (ICoD), and the Centre International de Liaison des Écoles de Cinéma et de Télévision (CILECT). Through this, JAI has built a diversified and multidimensional global cooperation network.
Founded in 1965, the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) is an international non-governmental organization composed of university presidents, rectors, and higher education leaders worldwide. IAUP is committed to fostering global higher education exchange, collaborative research, talent development, and cross-cultural understanding, while promoting peace, mutual respect, and sustainable development. Recognized as an important partner of UNESCO, IAUP plays a far-reaching and influential role in the global higher education landscape.
Looking ahead, Jilin Animation Institute will leverage the IAUP platform to deepen exchanges and cooperation with peers in global academia in areas such as educational collaboration, talent cultivation, and scholarly research—contributing the strength of JAI to the development of higher education worldwide.
