Liu Zhenhua remarked that the 25 years of Jilin Animation Institute’s development are both a history of “breaking boundaries” and a march toward innovation. This exhibition is not only a “comprehensive review” of the past but also a “powerful new beginning” for the journey ahead. From the craftsmanship of hand-drawn animation to the innovative applications of digital technology, from the founding aspiration of nurturing talents to the responsibility of serving the cultural and creative industries, every achievement reflects the wisdom and dedication of the JAI community.
He emphasized that the 25th anniversary is a new starting point, and the university will focus on the deep integration of technology and art to cultivate application-oriented leaders with market awareness, cross-disciplinary thinking, innovative concepts, and creative imagination. The exhibition spans nine themed areas located across teaching buildings A, B, E, and F, presented through immersive displays that combine images, artifacts, and multimedia interaction. Highlights include:
32 undergraduate programs,
353 high-quality courses,
nearly 100 textbooks,
47 teaching achievement awards,
and over 1,000 representative works created by faculty and students.
The exhibition demonstrates how JAI has aligned with the needs of the cultural and creative industries, driven interdisciplinary program development through market-oriented projects, and implemented a “technology + art” integration strategy. It also reflects the systematic advancement of digital-intelligence-enabled, high-quality development in program construction and teaching reform, the creation of a talent cultivation system that integrates “education, culture, art, technology, and market,” and the close connection of academic clusters with industry clusters. This journey has continually propelled the high-quality development of both students and their works, producing fruitful outcomes over 25 years.
