Recently, a three-person delegation led by Lee Seung-hoon, Honorary President of Sehan University, South Korea, visited the Jilin Animation Institute (JAI). Liu Zhenhua, Executive President of JAI, received the visiting guests. The two sides held discussions focusing on topics such as personnel training, joint program operation, artistic creation, and faculty and student exchange.

During the meeting, Liu Zhenhua gave a comprehensive overview of the institute’s development history and the significant achievements made since its establishment. As one of the first private undergraduate institutions in China specializing in digital art and creative industry education, the Jilin Animation Institute has long been dedicated to promoting the deep integration of technology and art, actively utilizing cutting-edge technologies like AI to empower artistic creation, and continuously enriching the technological substance of creativity. Mr. Liu stated that the institute will continue to deepen its exchanges and cooperation with international universities to comprehensively enhance the quality of its education and the standards of talent cultivation. He emphasized that the collaboration with Sehan University is not only a strategic, win-win partnership between the two schools but also marks a new starting point for deepening cooperation in the field of private education between China and South Korea.

During the visit, the delegation led by Lee Seung-hoon toured the Jilin Animation Institute History Museum, the Jilin International Animation Museum, and the Exhibition Hall for Integrated Research and Production Achievements. During the tour, Mr. Lee highly praised JAI's remarkable achievements in artistic creation, animation and film production, and international dissemination. He expressed hope that in the future, both sides could seek deeper cooperation in cross-disciplinary fields such as joint animated film production, virtual simulation, and aerial imagery production, with the goal of jointly establishing a diversified "Art + Technology" education model.

Jilin Animation Institute and Sehan University are closely aligned in their educational philosophies, program structures, and internationalization goals. In the future, the two institutions will join hands to advance joint artistic creation and international exhibitions and competitions; two-way exchanges for faculty and students; joint academic research and talent cultivation; and international youth exchange and cultural co-building. This initiative aims to inject new momentum into cultural and educational cooperation between Chinese and South Korean private universities, jointly creating a new model for China-South Korea higher education cooperation.
