In September 2025, the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education announced the list of recognized courses for the 3rd batch of National First-Class Undergraduate Courses. Jilin Animation Institute secured approval for 3 courses in this selection, among which there is 1 first-class blended online - offline course and 2 first-class social engagement courses. To date, the institute has obtained recognition for a total of 5 National First-Class Undergraduate Courses. In terms of the number of such approved courses, it ranks 2nd among private art colleges and universities nationwide, tied for 3rd among private universities in Jilin Province.
Over the years, Jilin Animation Institute has stayed true to its educational mission and built a new curriculum ecosystem of "first-class leadership + multi-dimensional breakthroughs." Guided by three core strategies — connotative development of education and teaching, integrated innovation of technology and art, and innovation and entrepreneurship upgrading — the university has vigorously carried out the "Elite Curriculum Development Initiative." In curriculum construction, it has steadily advanced ideological and political curriculum reform, innovated teaching content and methods, optimized assessment systems, and strengthened teaching team building, all of which have laid a solid foundation for enhancing curriculum quality.
