Recently, the National On-site Finals of the 2025 (13th) National University Students' Digital Media Technology Works and Creative Competition concluded at Harbin Institute of Technology. With solid professional skills and cutting-edge innovative thinking, the participating team from the Environmental Design major of the School of Design and Products at Jilin Animation Institute stood out amid fierce competition, winning the First Prize and Second Prize at the national level and adding new honors to the institute.

In the Jilin Provincial Selection Competition, the university’s participating teams won 2 first prizes, 8 second prizes, and 12 third prizes. These achievements not only recognize the professional capabilities of teachers and students but also highlight the university’s outstanding teaching effectiveness and the strong comprehensive practical abilities of its faculty and students.

The national finals adopted a two-session format: "public defense + work exhibition," with the latter featuring numerous highlights. The design works of our university's participating team were brilliantly presented through diverse forms such as display boards and digital demonstration screens. From detailed functional planning drawings of environmental spaces, to creative design schemes skillfully integrating regional cultural elements, and to realistic effect demonstrations simulated by AIGC and digital technologies, every detail fully showcased the team's rigorous design logic and strong technical capabilities, attracting the attention of many judges and participating institutions.
