The final evaluation of the 8th "Snow Wolf Cup" Animation & Comics Competition kicked off as scheduled on November 19th. Guided by the International Animated Film Association (ASIFA), the competition is hosted by Jilin Animation Institute, organized by the Jilin Animation & Game Association, the Jilin Provincial University Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Cultural and Creative) Alliance, and the Film, Game, Animation & Industrial Aesthetics Research Institute of Jilin Animation Institute, and co-organized by ASIFA China. Li Zhongqiu, Member of the ASIFA Council and Vice President, serves as the Chairman of the Jury Committee.
With "Animation Beyond Boundaries" as its core theme, the competition has widely called for animation and comics works globally, receiving a total of 1,473 entries (including 892 animation works and 581 comics works). Today, the final evaluation jury has gathered at Jilin Animation Institute.
Over the next two days, they will not only review works from an international perspective and select promising new talents but also conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge industrial topics, providing guidance and laying a solid academic and industrial foundation for the emergence of new global animation and comics forces.
