The China Association for Non-Government Education is a national first-level corporate entity registered as a legal entity, approved by the State Council and officially authorized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Established in 2008, it is a non-profit, industry-based social organization voluntarily formed by non-government educational institutions of various types and levels across the country, as well as individuals working in the non-government education sector. The association is under the joint leadership and administration of the Central Social Work Department, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
