On March 31, a delegation from Beijing Normal–Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU), including Mr. Ding Yi, Programme Director of the Master of Arts in Communication, and Associate Director Fu Kun, visited Jilin Animation Institute. During the visit, they conducted academic exchanges and held a postgraduate program information session. The visit aimed to deepen inter-institutional collaboration, expand pathways for students’ further studies, and inject new momentum into talent cultivation and cooperative development in the fields of film, television, and media.

The visiting guests toured the Jilin International Animation Museum
The delegation visited the university history museum, the Jilin International Animation Museum, the integrated industry–academia–research exhibition hall, and the film retrospective exhibition. Through these visits, they gained an in-depth understanding of the university’s distinctive strengths and achievements in animation, film, comics, and game design.


Information session
During the information session, Mr. Ding Yi provided a systematic introduction to the master’s program, including its specializations, curriculum structure, training model, and admission requirements. The session highlighted BNBU’s high-quality educational resources and international strengths in media education, offering students clear pathways and valuable guidance for further academic pursuits.
Following the session, the visiting delegation held discussions with representatives from the School of Games and the School of Film at Jilin Animation Institute. Both sides exchanged views on curriculum design, practical teaching, academic and research collaboration, and the cultivation of students’ creative abilities. They also explored potential cooperation in areas such as joint creative projects and collaborative academic research.
The visit and information session were intensive and highly productive. They not only enhanced mutual understanding between the two institutions but also laid a solid foundation for future collaboration in academic exchange and joint talent cultivation. Jilin Animation Institute will continue to advance high-level international cooperation, actively build an open and diverse educational platform, and support faculty and students in broadening their global perspectives and enhancing their global competence.
