The institute sets up 10 scientific research places (Center, Base, Room), including 1 Provincial Research Cooperation Demonstration base, 2 Provincial Engineering Research Center, 1 Provincial Characteristics Culture Research Base. In 2011, led by the institute, united 24 Jilin province cultural creative companies, Research Institutes and Universities to establish "Jilin Province Animation Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance". In recent 3 years, the institute and the VIXO company have undertaken 2 patents, 27 projects , such as National Science and Technology Support Plan Project, Jilin Province "double ten" Engineer Major Scientific and technological achievements transformation project, Jilin Province Science and Technology Result Transferring Projects, Jilin Province Science and Technology Development Plan Project, 8 animated films have been finished, 141 short films have been created, 2 large Network Games have been made,  295 Scientific and Research paper have been published, participate in 2 items for Industry Standard Making, host 5 items for the Local Standard Making and Company Standard Making.
