To fully implement the national and provincial policies and initiatives on employment and entrepreneurship for university graduates, respond to the needs of Jilin Province's high-quality development of the cultural industries, leverage the role of specialized higher education institutions as platforms for industry development, and promote high-quality and full employment for graduates in culture and creative fields across the province, the 2026 Jilin Provincial Job Fair for Culture and Creative Industry Graduates was held at Jilin Animation Institute (JAI) on September 23.

The event was part of the 2026 Fall Campus Recruitment Campaign for Graduates of Regular Higher Education Institutions in Jilin Province, themed "Pooling Resources, Expanding Capacity, Enhancing Quality, and Supporting High-Quality Development."It was hosted by the Jilin Provincial Department of Education and the Jilin Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, and jointly organized by the Jilin Provincial Higher Education Graduate Employment Guidance Center, the Jilin Association for University Student Employment and Entrepreneurship, and Jilin Animation Institute.
The job fair brought together high-quality employers and industry resources from across China. A total of 396 employers participated, offering more than 6,000 quality job opportunities. Focusing on key sectors including animation and games, digital design, film and television production, virtual reality, and AI applications in the cultural and creative industries, the event was open to graduates from universities across Jilin Province. By breaking down institutional barriers, it enabled the sharing of high-quality employer resources and facilitated the mobility of culture and creative talent across the province, creating a coordinated effort among government, universities, and enterprises to cultivate a new generation of talent for the revitalization of Jilin's cultural and creative industries.With a strong emphasis on expanding capacity and enhancing quality, the job fair focused on attracting leading companies and specialized, high-growth enterprises, providing graduates with career opportunities offering strong starting points and long-term growth potential.
A number of leading companies from the cultural and creative and digital entertainment sectors participated in the event, including Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., NetEase (Hangzhou) Network Co., Ltd., miHoYo Network Technology Co., Ltd., Lilith Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Giant Mobile Technology Co., Ltd., Chengdu Xiertianyi Technology Co., Ltd., Pook Technology Group Co., Ltd., Guangzhou 4399 Information Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Paper Games Network Technology Co., Ltd., Light Chaser Animation Studios, Alpha Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Original Force Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Yuntu Animation Design Co., Ltd., Beijing Ourpalm Co., Ltd., Chengdu Tuotu Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Oriental DreamWorks Film Technology Co., Ltd., as well as leading local companies such as Changchun Zhixingheyi Animation Co., Ltd. and Chenxing Culture & Technology Co., Ltd., both founded by JAI alumni. Their participation sent a strong signal of the growing demand for young talent in the industry.
Taking the provincial job fair as an opportunity to further extend its employment services, Jilin Animation Institute is working to integrate talent development, industry-education collaboration, and graduate employment. On the morning of September 23, JAI held the 2026 Strategic Cooperation Award Ceremony for University-Enterprise Talent Development and the Appointment Ceremony for University Student Employment and Entrepreneurship Mentors.

During the ceremony, eight university-enterprise strategic cooperation bases for talent development, including NetEase (Hangzhou) Network Co., Ltd., were officially designated. In addition, 36 professionals, including Zhou Jiajie, Senior Campus Recruitment Manager at NetEase (Hangzhou) Network Co., Ltd., were appointed as mentors for university student employment and entrepreneurship.
Meanwhile, to gain deeper insights into current and future market development trends as well as corporate talent demands, each school held parallel school‑enterprise cooperation symposiums during the event. Representatives from enterprises, relevant functional departments of the university, and discipline leaders gathered for in‑depth discussions on key themes including market demands, talent cultivation, integration of industry and education, internships and employment, and collaborative talent training between schools and enterprises. The sessions enabled precise alignment between corporate recruitment requirements and institutional talent‑development objectives, removing barriers linking talent cultivation to market‑oriented employment.
University-Enterprise Cooperation Forum
Looking ahead, Jilin Animation Institute will continue to work under the guidance of the relevant authorities to further integrate resources both within and beyond the university. The Institute will organize a wide range of initiatives, including specialized recruitment fairs, employer visits and career development programs, and employment guidance activities, in order to provide graduates with more diverse, targeted, and efficient employment opportunities. JAI will continue to strengthen its employment services brand and contribute more highly skilled, application-oriented talent to the high-quality development of Jilin Province's cultural and creative industries.
