On the morning of August 27, as part of the 21st China Changchun Film Festival's "Changchun–Hong Kong Film and Television Cultural Exchange" series themed "Golden Deer Shines on Hong Kong, Changchun and Hong Kong Share the Light," the "Changchun–Hong Kong Dialogue · Dialogues on Light and Shadow" film and television cultural exchange dialogue was held at the Changchun International Film Capital. The dialogue was attended by Zhuang Yan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Changchun Film Group; Zhang Yan, Chairman of Ji Network Media; renowned Hong Kong directors Wong Jing and So Man-Chung; Hong Kong actors Chan Wing-Kwan, Ng Heung-Lun, Yau Yi-Nung and Xie Sitong; You Yunfang, Head of the Film and Television Market Project at Jilin Animation Institute and Deputy General Manager of Jilin Jidong Yushuo Film and Television Media Co., Ltd.; Wang Xueyan, Chairman of Jingdian Media; Bai Xiaolong, General Manager of Huanlang Culture; as well as local film and television creators and industry representatives from Changchun. The attending guests engaged in in-depth dialogue and the exchange of ideas on topics including Hong Kong commercial cinema's production models and industrialization experience, the stylistic integration and innovation of film creation in the two cities, the international market expansion and distribution strategies of Chinese-language cinema, and the development trends of emerging formats such as micro-dramas.

As an industry exchange segment of the 21st China Changchun Film Festival, the event was co-hosted by Jilin Huanlang Culture and Technology Co., Ltd., Changchun Film Group Co., Ltd., Jilin Provincial Internet Media Co., Ltd., and Changchun Gaoxin Cultural Media Engineering Co., Ltd., with Jilin Provincial Cultural Industry Promotion Association, Jilin Animation Institute and others serving as co-organizers. Closely aligned with the festival's core theme of "New Era · New Cradle · New Power," the event carried forward the cultural roots of Changchun as the "Cradle of New China's Cinema." One end is the cradle of New China's cinema, and the other is the window through which Chinese-language cinema reaches the world — this rendezvous of light and shadow across three thousand kilometers is a vivid footnote to the two-way exchange, mutual learning and win-win cooperation between the two cities' film and television cultures. The guests agreed that Changchun and Hong Kong are both important forces in the landscape of Chinese-language cinema, and that it is precisely the right time to promote cooperation through exchange and pursue win-win outcomes through cooperation.

As an art academy deeply rooted in the fertile soil of Changchun, Jilin, Jilin Animation Institute has always upheld its educational philosophy of placing equal emphasis on the humanities and technology, persistently exploring and advancing unremittingly on the path of film and television talent cultivation. The university insists on using industry-education integration to build a solid foundation of practical training, breaking down the barriers between campus and market, and constructing a full-industry-chain talent cultivation system for film and television. This dialogue and exchange with the Hong Kong film and television creative team is not only a vivid testament to the effectiveness of the university's distinctive educational model, but also a concrete practice of the university seizing the new opportunities of Changchun–Hong Kong cooperation to drive the open development of film and television education. It is our hope that, with light and shadow as a bridge, we will walk hand in hand in the future, reaping rich fruits in co-creating projects, jointly cultivating talent and sharing markets — creating more compelling cinematic works that move audiences and enabling Chinese-language cinema to shine even more brilliantly on the global stage.
