Recently, the Jilin Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Jilin Provincial Department of Education issued a decision recognizing the winners of the 2026 Jilin Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards. Jilin Animation Institute won eight awards, ranking first among private universities in Jilin Province in the undergraduate category. The Institute was the lead institution for seven of the award-winning achievements, receiving two first prizes, two second prizes and three third prizes. It also received one award jointly with another institution.

Award-Winning Achievements
The Jilin Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards are the province’s highest-level honors in education and teaching. They recognize innovation in educational reform and the quality of talent development. In 2026, a total of 316 outstanding achievements were selected in the undergraduate category of higher education, showcasing the progress made by universities across the province in reforming education and fulfilling the fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education.

Winning eight provincial awards marks a significant achievement for Jilin Animation Institute as it pursues distinctive development, strengthens its academic foundations and explores innovative approaches to talent development. It also reflects the Institute’s progress in advancing its “Education+” strategy for deeper industry–education integration and developing a national innovation and entrepreneurship college. The awards demonstrate the Institute’s capacity to serve the cultural and creative industries and contribute to high-quality regional education.
As the Institute enters the opening year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, it will continue to deepen its “Education+” approach to industry–education integration and advance the implementation of its ten strategic initiatives. It will further strengthen its teaching system, integrate science, technology and the arts, promote interdisciplinary innovation, and enhance its innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem. By maintaining its distinctive educational mission and strengthening the foundations of talent development, the Institute aims to prepare innovative graduates for the emerging needs of the cultural industries and contribute to China’s development as a leading country in education and culture.
