To advance digital business teaching reform and industry-education integration, Jilin Animation Institute (JAI) recently welcomed Professor Yang Zhilin from City University of Hong Kong (CityU), President of the Chinese Scholars Association in Marketing. He delivered a special lecture and held faculty seminars, attracting over 100 teachers and industrial administrators. During the event, JAI appointed Professor Yang as a Visiting Professor, with Executive President Liu Zhenhua presenting the certificate to bolster the institute’s disciplinary construction and research development.

Titled Integrating AI into Business Decision-Making: Building a Teaching and Research Platform for Real Transactions, the lecture targeted the limitations of traditional business education and offered practical AI-integrated teaching solutions. Professor Yang introduced an innovative training platform that combines real trading scenarios with AI decision support. Allowing students to switch between buyer and seller roles, the platform enables full-process practice in product selection, store operation, data analysis and marketing conversion, helping students translate theories into solid commercial capabilities.

This data-driven teaching model replaces traditional experience-based teaching. With real transaction data and AI analysis, students can accurately grasp traffic operation and user conversion logic. Citing CityU’s teaching cases, Professor Yang showed that student teams achieved an 87.47% gross profit margin via precise positioning and differentiated content marketing, fully validating the advantages of the “content + experience + AI” training model.
In the subsequent faculty seminar, Professor Yang shared his decades-long teaching and industry experience, offering guidance on talent training optimization and curriculum innovation. He emphasized that commercial visual and auditory design should precisely serve brand marketing, rather than mere aesthetic decoration, as visual and audio elements effectively enhance brand recognition and communication.
