
The conference brought together leading experts and scholars from top animation institutions worldwide, including Li Jianping, former Dean of the Animation School at Beijing Film Academy, doctoral supervisor, and Director of the Animation Art Committee of the China Artists Association; Xiao Zhidong, Chief Academic Expert and doctoral supervisor at the National Centre for Computer Animation, Bournemouth University, UK; Rachel Landers, Professor at the University of Technology Sydney and Head of the Department of Media Arts, Animation, Music, and Sound Design; Yoo Hyun-jin, Associate Professor and Dean of the Animation School at Cheonggang University of Culture and Industry, South Korea; Ai Shengying, Professor and master's supervisor at the School of Animation and Digital Arts, Communication University of China, and animation producer; Max Hattler, Associate Professor at the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong, and Programme Leader for the Bachelor of Arts in Creative Media; and Arieen Hilkema, Programme Lead for Art and Design at Media Design School, New Zealand. Also in attendance were Xie Juan, Deputy Director of the Content Operations Second Department of the New Media Centre, China Media Group; Qi Lin, Head of Animation Operations at CMG Yangshipin; and journalists from China Daily, China Youth Daily, and other news media. Against the backdrop of technological change in digital intelligence, and with a focus on animation education innovation and the integration of industry and education alongside international collaboration, the conference conducted multi-dimensional, in-depth, and broad-scope discussions, charting a blueprint and consolidating efforts for the high-quality development of animation education in the new era.
