Recently, Jilin Animation Institute was invited to participate in the 2024 MIPCOM, which is the 11th time for the school to participate in MIPCOM, and the results are remarkable and fruitful. In-depth communication with related companies from the United States, India, Portugal, Italy, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany and other countries and regions. Preliminary cooperation intention has been reached with relevant companies from the UK, Sri Lanka, Italy, Turkey, India and other countries and regions.

MIPCOM is the world's largest entertainment content market and is held in Cannes, France, every October. This year's event attracted more than 1,500 industry-leading distribution and production companies from more than 100 countries and regions, setting up more than 320 stands and 31 national joint booths, covering all-platform content such as TV dramas, animations, documentaries and variety shows.

Jilin Animation Institute set up an independent booth, and actively displayed original works Zap’s Last Stand, The Frog Kingdom series of movies, Freya, Legend Shadow, Drama Is A Life and so on. The works have attracted a lot of attention, and preliminary cooperation intentions have been reached with relevant foreign companies in content production, project production, IP incubation, project investment and financing, overseas distribution, and batch film introduction. Among them, the original animated movie Zap’s Last Stand and the animated series Square Animal City have attracted much attention. Due to the unique painting style and wonderful stories of these two works, so many film source procurement companies have shown great interest in cooperation, and look forward to further cooperation.

Jilin Animation Institute's deeply integrated teaching mode of “integration of education, research and industry” has also aroused the attention and discussion of colleagues around the world, and many educational institutions, students, investment and financing companies are looking forward to reaching cooperation with the school in terms of talent introduction and educational achievement exchange. During the exhibition, our school representatives also visited local film and television universities and held friendly negotiations on future inter-school cooperation.
