The signing ceremony for the "Promoting High-Quality Development of Jilin's Cultural Industry—Film and Television Arts Education and Industry Cooperation Project," co-hosted by Jilin Animation Institute and the China Xia Yan Film Society, was held on June 29 at Jilin Animation Institute. During the ceremony, Jilin Animation Institute signed strategic cooperation agreements with several organizations, including the Singapore Lion City International Film Festival Committee, the Mao Zedong Poetry Life Museum, Writers' Network, and Zhongguancun Digital Media Industry Alliance.

  Supported by the China Literary and Art Workers Film and Television Center and co-organized by the Jilin Province University Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Cultural and Creative) Alliance, the event featured seven main segments with eleven agenda items. This initiative reflects the commitment to implementing President Xi Jinping's cultural vision and practicing the principle of serving the people through the arts. The event also highlighted the active efforts of higher education institutions in nurturing new artistic talent and contributing to the high-quality development of Jilin's cultural industry.

  Prominent figures such as Zhao Huayong, a former member of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and former president of China Central Television, and Chen Mei, a second-level inspector of the Jilin Provincial Department of Education, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Other notable attendees included Zheng Liguo, Chairman of Jilin Animation Institute; Zheng Zi, Executive Vice President of the Asian Microfilm Academy; and well-known actors Zang Jinsheng, Wen Yujun, Zhu Yanping, Tong Fan, and Wang Yijun, along with esteemed directors Kang Weiping and Jiang Xiaoyu, and cultural scholars Zhao Zhi, Sheng Zengbo, Dai Wenjiang, Shen Zhuyin, Xu Haiyan, Wen Lianyan, Wang Bin, and Han Yi. The event was hosted by Zhao Baole, a national first-class screenwriter and renowned host.

  The signing ceremony was also attended by several key leaders from various institutions, including Yue Wu, Party Secretary and Supervisory Commissioner of Jilin Animation Institute; Liu Xin, Vice Chairman of Jilin Animation Institute; Liu Zhenhua, Executive President of Jilin Animation Institute; Wu Jian, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Changchun University of Science and Technology; Yang Nan, Vice President of Jilin University of Finance and Economics; Zhang Jianhua, Party Secretary of Jilin International Studies University, and many others from universities across Jilin Province. These participants represent a significant collaboration between educational institutions in the cultural and creative industries within the province.

  Zhao Huayong expressed that the establishment of the "Microfilm, Micro Drama, and Micro Video Research Institute" at Jilin Animation Institute is a pioneering initiative with significant real-world implications. These types of works, rich in thought, artistry, and entertainment value, hold substantial market influence both domestically and internationally. He emphasized the importance of content and direction in these creations, as they are crucial for the future development of students and could impact multiple generations. Zhao praised the institute for guiding this emerging industry, which offers students valuable knowledge for future careers, and highlighted the potential of these media to tell China's story and promote its culture globally.

  Chen Mei emphasized that the Jilin Provincial Department of Education places great importance on the development of art education throughout the province. By implementing Jilin's "One Main and Six Double" high-quality development strategy, the department actively promotes the advancement of the cultural industry, digital innovation, and industrial transformation. The signing activities at Jilin Animation Institute facilitate the deep integration of industry and education, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. This initiative creates a solid foundation for the employment and entrepreneurial success of art students, contributing to the province's cultural industry development.

  In his speech on behalf of the organizers, Zheng Liguo emphasized that China’s cultural industry is currently experiencing a golden era of high-quality development. He noted President Xi Jinping's emphasis on accelerating the development of new productive forces, which are key to social progress and industrial innovation. Zheng highlighted Jilin Animation Institute's commitment to an integrated approach combining education, research, and industry, with a focus on innovation, international collaboration, and the application of high technology in creative products. The institute actively contributes to the development of the cultural industry by nurturing talent in film and television arts.

The establishment of the Microfilm, Micro Drama, and Micro Video Research Institute and the Film and Television Arts Expert Committee

  At the signing ceremony, Liu Zhenhua, Executive President of Jilin Animation Institute, announced the decisions to establish the "Microfilm, Micro Drama, and Micro Video Research Institute" and the "Film and Television Arts Expert Committee," under the guidance of the China Xia Yan Film Society. Zheng Liguo presented appointment letters to the institute's leaders, and together with Zhao Huayong, Chen Mei, and Zheng Zi, unveiled the plaque for the new research institute. This initiative aims to create a comprehensive platform for research, creation, and exchange, enhancing the quality of content and talent cultivation in these emerging fields.

  Zheng Liguo presented appointment letters to the researchers of the "Jilin Animation Institute Film and Television Arts Expert Committee." The establishment of this committee aims to bring together experts from various fields of film and television, creating a collaborative framework that integrates academia, research, and industry. This initiative is designed to strengthen the construction of the film and television arts education system and enhance the training of talents in this field, accelerating the development and quality of film and television arts education at the institute.

  After the signing ceremony, host Zhao Baole interviewed the attending artists, discussing topics such as how to support local art education and how artists can contribute to the high-quality development of Jilin Animation Institute. The artists shared their insights and offered suggestions for the advancement of Jilin's cultural industry.

  The signing ceremony not only marked a significant step in deepening collaboration between Jilin Animation Institute and industry and academic partners but also opened a new chapter of joint development. The institute aims to explore new models for integrating film and television arts education with industry, leveraging the platform to foster innovation and contribute to regional economic development in Jilin Province.
