To improve the quality of Sino-foreign cooperative education in JAI and continue to promote the construction of Sino-foreign cooperative education projects, on March 22, Vice President Wang Chunli led a group of 8 people in charge of the Academic Affairs Office, the International Cooperation Development Center, and School of International Visual Effects to JUFE for Sino-foreign cooperative education project visit. Vice President of Jilin University of Finance and Economics Liu He, Director of International Cooperation and communication Office Wang Ying, Dean of Faculty of International Communication Science Zhang Zhenhua, Secretary of the Party Committee Ma Xiaoxu, Deputy Director of the International Office Zhang Dongchun, and Deputy Dean of Faculty of International Communication Science Li Gensheng warmly welcomed delegation of our Institute.

During the symposium, Liu He, the Vice President of JUFE, extended a warm welcome to the visitors of our Institute and introduced the basic situation of JUFE to our representatives. Wang Chunli, Vice President of JAI, introduced JAI’s characteristics in terms of school orientation, school philosophy, disciplinary construction, and international exchanges. She also showed appreciation to JUFE for its support to JAI’s development over the years, also expected to gain experience at JUFE with nearly 20 years of experience in Sino-foreign cooperative educaiton.

Subsequently, Director of International Cooperation and communication Office of JUFE, Wang Ying introduced to our institute representatives the process and evaluation experience of Sino-foreign cooperative education projects of JUFE. Bao Yiping, Executive Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Development Center of our Institute, introduced basic information of our Sino-foreign cooperative education project with New Zealand Media Design School and the main purpose of this visit. The two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on the enrollment of Sino-foreign cooperative education projects, talent training programs, language issues, the introduction of foreign courses and teaching resources, and party-building work. JUFE also answered questions and shared their successful experience to representatives of institute on how to meet the challenge of the evaluation of Sino-foreign cooperative education carried out by the Ministry of Education.

This visit not only deepened our institute’s understanding of the Sino-foreign cooperative education project of JUFE, and strengthened the relationship between the relevant departments and colleges of the two universities, but also helped our institute to further clarify the tasks of the Sino-foreign cooperative education evaluation work. The goal has laid a good foundation for preparing for the evaluation of Sino-foreign cooperative education.
