According to the 2015 Jilin Province “Changbai Mountain Scholars” Recruitment Notice, and for the purpose of the talent building plan of Jilin Animation Institute (JAI), JAI aims to recruit leading persons in various fields.

1. Position (related to animation, games and derivative products )

a. Changbai Scholar Special-appointed Professor (one person)

b. Changbai Scholar Chair Professor (two persons)

Tips: Design Art involving the areas of animation, games and derivative products, is the province-level key second-class discipline. In accordance with the Notice, Changbai Scholar belongs to the province-level and above key discipline.

2. Job Requirement

1) Changbai Scholar Special-appointed Professor (full-time)

a. Scholarly, teamwork spirit and strong leadership.

b. With a doctorate degree, a professorship or other related job title.

c. Below 55 years old.

d. With strategic thinking, international view and innovative ability, and internationally and domestically well-known academic achievement.

e. The achievements of recent five years should meet two of the following conditions:        

Have led national scientific research projects, and obtained important achievements.

The papers (first author or corresponding author) have been collected in SCI, SSCI and CSSCI, etc.

Have obtained provincial and ministerial-level second-class and above scientific and technological awards as a project leader.

The transferred scientific achievements have yielded significant economic benefits.

The policy suggestion reports have been adopted by the government and yielded direct economic and social benefits.

f. The employment period is 3 years and full-time.

2) Changbai Scholar Chair Professor (part-time)

a. Scholarly, trustworthy, dedicated and with scientific spirit.

b. Working at overseas universities or scientific organizations with assistant professor and above job title or other related titles.

c. Below 55 years old.

d. With higher academic attainments, being influential in the subject and have obtained internationally and domestically well-known academic achievement.

e. The achievements of recent five years should meet two of the following conditions:

The ongoing project meets JAI’s orientation and will facilitates the discipline development.

The papers (first author or corresponding author) have been collected in SCI, SSCI and CSSCI, etc.

The scientific achievements are highly recognized by experts of the same area.

Patent transfer or policy consultation report expects to yield significant economical and social benefits.

Being in charge of important academic post or have obtained important academic titles.

f. The employment period is 3 years. Working 2 months or more per year.
