On 9 a.m. 4^th December, 2018 Global Comics Creative Workshop Ecological Summit---Comics Creative Workshop Collection and Incubation Platform was held in the cultural and art center of JAI.

  JAI Deputy principal Li Chunyi, JAI Dean of School of Comics Zhang Xiaoye, Assistant Dean Zhan Jingyao, Head of Malaysia Comicker Union Law Shaw Ming, Malaysia Cartoonist Teo Chin Liong, Chin Sau Khong, China Taiwan Cartoonist Huang Junxiong, NIN, General Manager of Jilin Animation Cultural Arts Group Comics Career Wang Licheng, Deputy Manager Zhang Yao, IP Career General Manager Liu Jia and head of some other departments attended this summit.

  Mr. Lee gave his speech on the summit, in which he analyzed the trending situation of Chinese comic industry. He mentioned that this summit is in accordance with China Comics IP Ecological Circle and Industrial Chain. “Now is the right time to develop comics industry,” he said. Under this circumstance, JAI invited specialists and heads of comics industry to meet a “Golden Age” of global comics industry.

  Law took the example of Malaysian Comics development, expressing recent trend of comics market. He believes that Chinese comics platform is hanging out so that only good-quality and speedy works can survive, so is global market.

  Comics market is full of violent competitiveness which just like a battlefield without guns and bombs. How can it survive from such a violent situation? Wang explored his idea that Comics IP should thrive together with a real IP, in this way it can influence other industries.

Specialists and scholars freely discussed their ideas and shared experience on the same concerning issue. They explored the future of comics industry and shared a lot with guests and teachers and students.

  Li Chunyi presented Honorable Certificate for Initial Incubation Program Group, and Wang Licheng awarded 100,000 RMB as prize money for author of The Uncanny Records which had over 100 million hits. During the practicing period, excellently  original works will be collaborated with stock rights and shares to build up ecological comics system in China.

  Meanwhile, The second 24 Hours International Comics Marathon in Jilin Animation Institute was also held. Scale of this competition has enlarged to China Taiwan, China Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. It has been an essential competition brand around China.

  Collecting famous cartoonists from home and abroad, this summit has also unite famous platforms. Both JAI and its schools will collaboratively build up a new platform to challenge a summit, elite and ecology.
