The Opening Ceremony of Freshmen 2018 & Military Training Commendation Conference have been held on Sept. 21, 2018. Chairman, President Mr. Zheng Liguo,  Party Committee Secretary Mr. Zhang Ju, Executive Vice President Mr. Hu Weige, Vice Presidents Mr. Wang Xiaoyan, Ms. Wang Chunli, Mr. Zheng Lijun, Supervisor of Board of Directors Ms. Julie, Assistant President Ms. Peng Wei, Sergeant School of Armored Force Academy of Army Coach, Service Battalion Commander, Squadron Leader Ma Zhichao, School of Armored Force Academy of Army Coach, Service Battalion Captain Bai Fan, leaders of schools and departments and teachers, all the military training coaches, and all freshmen took part in the ceremony.

The ceremony started with the national song. Representing Chairman, President Mr. Zheng Liguo, Party Committee Secretary Mr. Zhang Ju, together with Squadron Leader Ma Zhichao, reviewed the freshmen honor guard.

The Little Redcap Team, made up of 67 female students, escorting the regimental flag of military training, first passed through the examination platform, representing the JAI spirit of "self-respect, self-improvement"; First Gun-armed Men Team, made up of students from School of Game, School of Virtual Reality, School of Design, and School of Industrial Design, fully demonstrated the strong will of JAI people; Freshmen teams from different schools passed through the examination platform one by one, showing the youth and passions of JAI people. The military boxing performance team posed the Chinese characters-"Chinese Dream", and "Self-respect, Self-improvement, Innovation and Creation",  displaying their responsibility as the “new power” of JAI.

Deputy Minister of JAI Student Affairs Department Ms. Wang Huiping announced the Military Training Commendation 2018. School leaders awarded banners and certificates for model companies and  individuals in the military training, and encouraged them to make greater achievements in the future study and life.

Freshmen Representative Sun Tianyi, from School of International Visual Effect, gave the speech, and he wished to be the pride of JAI after four years college life.

Deputy Director of New Media Animation Department of School of Animation Arts, Mr. Li Keming, on behalf of all JAI teachers, addressed the ceremony and welcomed all freshmen 2018 to JAI. He hoped that all freshmen would write a new chapter of their life in JAI.

Chairman,President Zheng Liguo addressed the ceremony, with the speech“Generation of Millennium, Future of JAI”. He added that the freshmen were standing on the home field of the future, and wished them to face the changing situation of creative industry both domestic and abroad confidently, and to improve ourselves and live up to the expectations of country,  society, and their parents.
