On the afternoon of July 5^th, the symposium on Chinese Government Awards for Arts and Culture and the 3rd Animation Award was held in Shanghai. After a series of review and evaluation, Jilin Animation Institute(JAI) stood out among many Chinese animation educational institutions and won the Chinese Government Awards for Arts and Culture and the 3^rd Animation Award for “the Best Animation Educational Organization”. In 2014, the original 3D animation film “Frog Kingdom” made by JAI teachers and students won the Chinese Government Awards for Arts and Culture and the 2^nd Animation Award for “the Best Animation Film”. This is the second time that JAI has won the national animation award, which is a high recognition for the animation teaching and the training mode of innovative animation talents.

Liguo Zheng, president of JAI attended the symposium, received the award and delivered a speech on behalf of “the Best Animation Educational Organization”. Zheng focused on the strategic layout of JAI, the orientation of application-oriented talents training, the construction of the school's training system for talents, as well as the promotion of original animation works. He also said that JAI would make every effort to promote the innovation of talent training for animation higher education, improve the ability of animation teachers, and create more excellent original animation works.

In the 14^th Chinese International Animation and Game Expo and the 3^rd Exhibition for Animation Awards, Xu Zhang, member of the party group and vice minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Zheng Gao, inspector of department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and other leaders visited the winners. On behalf of “the Best Animation Educational Organization”, Zheng also made a detailed introduction on the JAI schooling characteristics of“ Integration of Education, Research and Industry ”and the training of animation professionals and the promotion of original animation works.
