Le Siting, Lecturer of Computer Media and Art College of Teesside University and Sun Pingyao, part of China Office International Officer visited our university on 19 of April and gave an lecture on painting skills training and character design in animation, comics and game workshop. Huang Baizhou and Liu Lei,Deputy Directors of International Cooperation Centre, Huang Qian, Translator and more than 30 teachers and students attended this workshop.

The opening address was given by Zhan Jingrao, Assistant to Comics School Dean. He warmly welcomed Teesside University and gave a brief introduction of development of our university,comics course and international cooperation of our university,etc. Then, Le Siting taught students about life drawing, figure drawing techniques and perspective structure. She also introduced soft pastel, oil pastel and water colour. She encouraged students to go out of their comfort zone and tried to use different drawing techniques. Le Siting also showed continuous drawing to students. Then students tried continuous drawing and Le gave comments on their works. Finally, Sun Pingyao introduced Teesside University. Teesside University is a prestigious university. Its animation course ranks Top 20 in the 100 best animation university.
