On Nov. 15 2016, GAME JAM 2016 was held at Jilin Animation Institute(JAI), within 48 hours, competitors would show their final development of game at the end.

There were over 70 students and teachers from HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, Sangmyung University, Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, Nanjing Normal University Taizhou Institute, Jilin Normal University, Jilin University of Arts, Changchun University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Jilin Agriculture University and Jilin Animation Institute.

Ms. Liu Xin, vice chairman and vice president of JAI, Mr. Bai Liming, assistant of the president, dean of School of Game, Ms. Sun Shumei, assistant of the president, director of HR Center took a part in the Opening Ceremony. The special judges invited are Micah Hrehovcsik, HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, Prof. Hyungsup Yoon, Sangmyung University, Ioannis Moutafoglou, independent game creative artist

 

The students were divided into 11 teams which created 11 games within 48 hours covering PC game , Mobile game and AR game etc.

 

The team named 3F won the first award and the team named Boom won second award. Ge Yingying, Wang Xiaodong, Feng Changbao etc. gained the title of Excellent Conducting Teachers. Micah Hrehovcsik, HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, was invited to be the Visiting Professor of JAI.
